MY 'PASSPORT' STORY

yesterday I got my passport....that's the reason why I am writing this post in green....a green signal...a long cherished dream...You may wonder why i m exaggerating this matter...No way.....I will state 2 facts which will make you understand the above statement.

Date of application- 3/11/2009

Date of issue - 16/6/2010

one week for them to book a speed post courier that makes it exactly 22/6/2010.

Validity 10 years....

that's close to 8 and half months for processing the entire thing....wow.....

I m relieved.... I don't remember exactly how many times I have been to their office at Cochin...every month at least twice. I can without doubt say, I know the nook and cranny of the office, so anyone who is yet to apply for this valuable document, feel free to contact me for my value added services acquired through real experience and totally unwanted mental agony.

Now where should I go with my brand new passport?? Europe, South east Asia, Or Africa...?? With world cup fever gripping its raging heat over South Africa, I prefer going there but........... I know I cant.... How can I without my Friends??

Some of them are busy and exasperated with undying aspirations and preparations for the PG entrance at various parts of the state, some in nuptial bliss, and some about to start their PG classes due next week, Who is gonna accompany me? I know no one. Last year Paily told we will go Malaysia when the passport is ready...But now he is busy...

I hope this stalemate will end after an year, everyone will get their PG and ready for a trip....

And i will post a blog ..............No blogs for a week......I m backpacking.....in some exotic location in another part of the continent..... :-)

when i started my blog in october i was overwhelmed with joy and ardent vigour, but basic instincts always stay with man!!! Hurrray I have nt changed slight a bit not even a mili micro....so wat provoked me 2 write?? i dont knw...may be destiny....or is it a chance encounter wth one of my class buddy shifana in facebook??well i dont knw.....i dont like facebook much....i can say simply i was addicted 2 orkut...i love orkut....but facebook i can definitely say i dont like...sorry 4 being harsh.....but truth triumphs....i dont undstnd wat hooks people 2 facebook....well i dont care.....but the point here is she has started a blog... i m posting the link here www.mykitchenblues.blogspot.com its supposed 2 be a food blog... well i ve nt started reading... any1 can do at their own risk..

well about what i wanna tell today...... well i hate sundays.... because parents at home all the time...hahha.... they dont pester me but i dont knw...some how i started a hate cycle for sundays.....but i love this sunday....me n my sister went 4 raavan at sridhar cinemas.....cud have done at cinemax...month end fast appproaching..have 2 scrimp...1 ticket cinemax multiplex = 2 tickets sridhar...its a nice theatre..went 2 chiyang first had a gorgeous meal, but even the full tummy cudnt pose an impediment 2 pursue our dream dessert the xcess avalanche at THE AVENUE REAGENT. Reshma my sis was bedazzled...if u happen to be at ernakulam and u love chinese food, u should visit CHIYANG near Madhava Pharmacy. any kochilite wud vouch for this....

now coming to the real point Raavan..... well i will give a rating of 3.5/5

well i will say my reasons.

1) i m a die hard maniratnam fan and i belive he is one of the best directors in india.i watch his films on the premiere day, this one i had to break my aadat due 2 some personal reasons...i dont believe he will jus throw away 80 crores on a crap theme..

2 some critics have given ratings as low as 1.5/5

rating is something personal.i loved the film, i enjoyed the movie

3 technically it is superb.... the locations , camera work, back ground score n the sets...maniratnam deserves applause.

4 if i compare it with his last film Guru, it is a more enjoyable movie and the theme also was very different and a period film based on a contemporary businesss tycoon.

5 i would personally say songs were having less impact on the screen...back ground score was impeccable

6 abishek has fine tuned into a better actor....brilliant acting

7 who is rama n raavana?? what do they denote?? evil n sanctity??

in the picture the raavana is given a little weightage n he says to vikram u l prove yourself again that u r nt god but a rakshasa( before dying)

8 climax didnt fail 2 thrill....

i l stop with this...........no crap fm me 2day....

well i m planning 2 c the tamil version to wach wat vikram n prithviraj has done....so good nite bye...
